The "Home of Talents" academy has produced world-class champions such as Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and the Italian national team superstar, Marco Veratti, as well as Lorenzo Insigne, and Ciro Immobile amongst many others.

Last year’s camp saw 14 students selected to visit Italy to train with the Pescara academy youth teams. Two of them, including our own Elite Soccer Development student, earned a month-long scholarship to return for further training in April 2023.

Following the success of last year’s camp, Pescara Calcio Academy is returning for the second year in a row!

This year’s camp is bigger and better! we are excited to welcome 100 top players to train with the Pescara coaches at the beautiful Ridley College campus in St. Catharines. Not only that, but we are also excited to welcome the Pescara Men’s Seria C first-team professional players at Ridley College for their pre-season camp in addition to welcoming Pescara Calcio’s U11 to U16 boys academy teams to Canada for the first time ever!

  • Location: Ridley College, 2 Ridley Way, St. Catharines, ON L2S 3Y8

  • Ages: U8 to U17 players.

  • The top 25 players will earn an exclusive invite to train with the Pescara Calcio Youth Academy teams on July 10 - 15 in Niagara.

  • Players that show promise will be invited to train in Italy in October 2023 for further assessments by the Pescara academy and be immersed in Italian football culture!

  • Each player will be provided with a kit from Pescara that includes a t-shirt and shorts.

  • Only $376.11+HST - JUNE 6 - DEADLINE FOR PESCARA KIT (any sales after will receive a camp shirt instead)

The beautiful campus offers 9 acres of facilities including multiple soccer fields and access to a physio office, gymnasium, and other quality amenities. The facility is a short drive to nearby coffee shops, restaurants, and the St. Catharines General Hospital.

FAQs

  • We do not directly provide accommodations. Ridley College does offer a stay at their residence for a set fee. If you wish to learn more about accommodation options at Ridley College, please reach out to us and we will put you in touch.

  • The fee is due in full prior to the start of the camp. We understand that cost can be a barrier to participation, especially in these difficult economic times. We are happy to work with you and your family to work out a payment plan that fits your circumstances.

    We do offer a limited number of scholarships for exceptional students who are facing financial barriers. Please contact us to inquire if you qualify.

  • Yes, we understand circumstances change. In order to accommodate our students we offer a full refund minus a $25 admin fee if they de-register at least two weeks prior to the start of camp. If de-registering on the 1st day of camp, you will receive a 50% discount. If a medical note is provided, a full refund is granted.

  • No. These are two separate camps hosted Pescara Calcio. We are proud to have connected the Ridley and Pescara together last year and they provide quality training opportunities to more athletes in Niagara.

  • We pride ourselves on having a large network of high-performance players that are currently playing at the highest levels of soccer in Ontario and around the world. You can anticipate a high quality of technical ability, and an intense and demanding pace from our camper.

  • Yes. We are currently offering an early bird discount for a savings of $30.

    We also offer:

    A family discount of %10 on siblings.

    Group discount of 10% for groups of 10 players or more.

    Team discount of 10% for coaches who bring 14 - 16 players. If the coach has a child on the team, the child will be admitted for free.

  • Yes, more details will be released closer to the camp. Please contact us if you are interested in assisting.

  • International Identification (ID) camp is one that is facilitated by international coaches, often representing professional teams and/or colleges and universities, scouts and scouting agencies, or player representatives and agents. At our organization, they are intended for competitive and high-performance players looking to develop their skills and are interested in pursuing their dreams of a professional opportunity.
